Comer's Midden Monsters are monsters released during the early nineteenth century by archaeological research at Comer's Midden in Greenland.
In contemporary usage, the term "Comer's Midden Monster" may refer to any monster having great affinity with the Comer's midden site.
More strict usage applies exclusively to monsters born of the archaeological site itself, excluding non-site monsters who wish to haunt the site for reasons of their own.
